Whether it's Foxtel, Austar, Telstra TV or the HDMI output of your HTPC/PC/MAC, our HDMI AV Transmitter is designed to unleash your device's wireless potential - broadcasting up to 1080p HD quality to another TV in your home. The transmission range is up to 50m line-of-sight, with the ability to transmit through walls and floors over shorter distances of approx 15-25m (depending on the material and number of obstacles).
How it works...
You can liken the AV Sender as operating like a long HDMI lead, only wireless. Connect the Transmitter to the HDMI output of your source (eg Foxtel box) and then connect the Receiver to your TV in the other room. Your main TV can also connect to the Transmitter, so you don't require a HDMI splitter.
The system features an IR Extender, which means you can also use the remote control of the AV source in the other room. Easy!

How to watch Foxtel on another TV
The HDMI AV Sender works with Foxtel boxes with a HDMI output, including the Foxtel IQ4 box, IQ3, IQ2 (IQHD) and Foxtel IQ.
Many AV Senders are not compatible with the RC6 IR signals used by Foxtel IR remote controls, however this unit is compatible with RC6 and has been confirmed to work with the Foxtel IR remotes.
Note for IQ3/IQ4 owners
The Foxtel IQ3 box has the ability to be controlled with a Bluetooth or IR remote control. The HDMI AV Sender only relays IR signals, so in order to use a remote control from the 2nd room you'll require a Foxtel IR remote control. We sell a generic one that is compatible and you'll be presented with an option to buy this upon purchase of the HDMI AV Sender.
Note for IQ4 owners
The AV Sender can work with IQ4 however please note that the wireless transmission and pass-through feature has a maximum resolution of HD 1080p.
How to watch Austar on another TV
The HDMI AV Sender works with Austar boxes with a HDMI output.
Many AV Senders are not compatible with the RC6 IR signals used by Austar IR remote controls, however this unit is compatible with RC6 and has been confirmed to work with the Austar IR remotes.
How to watch Freeview on another TV
If you have a Freeview (or similar) set-top-box that features a HDMI output, then you can use our HDMI AV Sender to wirelessly send the signal to another room.
This is also a great option if you want to install a TV in a location where there is no aerial point. You can install a Freeview set-top box where there is an aerial, then send the signal using the HDMI Sender to the location of your TV
How to watch Telstra TV on another TV
If you have a Telstra TV box (these have a HDMI output), you can use our HDMI AV Sender to wirelessly send the signal to another room.
Using a HDMI Sender is also a great option if you want to get a faster Telstra TV internet connection by connecting it directly to your model/router (location away from the TV). You can then send the signal using the HDMI Sender to the location of your TV.
How to send your Blu-Ray signal to another TV
If you have a Blu-Ray player with a HDMI output (nearly all do), then you can use our HDMI AV Sender to wirelessly send the signal to another room.
Using a HDMI Sender is also a great option if you want to hide your Blu-ray player out of sight away from your TV or projector, as you can then wirelessly send the signal to the display device.
How to send your HDMI signal to another TV
If you have a HDMI output on Laptop, PC, Mac, iPad (via an adaptor) or any other source device, then you can use our HDMI AV Sender to wirelessly send the signal to another room.

Multi-Room - Send to more than one room or from more than one source
The system has the ability to add extra transmitters and/or receivers, allowing whole-home wireless streaming. You can connect up to 3 receivers per transmitter (one for each extra TV), and 4 transmitters (one per each source device). One transmitter and one receiver is provided in the AV Sender, and individual receivers and transmitters are available separately.
