Wouldn't it be great if you could open your window coverings with the touch of a button from anywhere in your home? You can also create scenes so that a single button-press opens up all of the windows in your home.

In this solution we add an INSTEON Micro Motor controller to your existing electric curtain/blind/shutter motor and then control this with a Mini-Remote (4-Scene). The remote can be used to provide independent control for up to four curtains, or be used to active scenes (eg. "Wake Up" mode), which in-turn opens the whole house with a single press.

Step 1 - Connect the INSTEON Micro Motor Controller to the motorised window coverings
Your electrician installs the 240V Micro Motor Controller to your existing curtain/blind/shutter motor.
Step 2 - Link the INSTEON Mini Remote to the Micro Motor Controller module
Follow the simple instructions for the remote in order to assign each curtain to your button of choice. You can even add multiple curtains to the same button, allowing easy 'opening' of your whole home.
