Once installed, this solution lets you easily check whether you have left the iron on, and if necessary turn it off using your smartphone or tablet.

Step 1 - Install the INSTEON Plug-in Relay and plug-in your iron
Plug the relay module into the power-point and follow the included instructions for connecting the iron.
Step 2 - Set-up the INSTEON Hub
Follow the included instructions to connect the INSTEON Hub to your router and then set-up the free INSTEON App on your Apple or Android device.
Step 3 - Add the Plug-in Relay module as a new device in the INSTEON App
Follow the easy to follow on-screen steps to add the relay module. You can also create schedules to automatically turn it off at certain times.
Step 4 - You're done
You can now control the power to your clothes iron using your smartphone or tablet - from across the room or anywhere in the world. Peace of mind.
