Send your Foxtel, Austar or other AV signal wirelessly to another room

HDMI AV Sender visualised

Whether it's Foxtel, Austar, Telstra TV or the HDMI output of your HTPC/PC/MAC, our HDMI AV Transmitter is designed to unleash your device's wireless potential - broadcasting up to 1080p HD quality to another TV in your home. The transmission range is up to 50m line-of-sight, with the ability to transmit through walls and floors over shorter distances of approx 15-25m (depending on the material and number of obstacles).

How it works...

You can liken the AV Sender as operating like a long HDMI lead, only wireless. Connect the Transmitter to the HDMI output of your source (eg Foxtel box) and then connect the Receiver to your TV in the other room. Your main TV can also connect to the Transmitter, so you don't require a HDMI splitter.

The system features an IR Extender, which means you can also use the remote control of the AV source in the other room. Easy!

HDMI Sender for Foxtel

How to watch Foxtel on another TV

The HDMI AV Sender works with Foxtel boxes with a HDMI output, including the Foxtel IQ3 box, Foxtel IQ2 (IQHD) and Foxtel IQ.

Many AV Senders are not compatible with the RC6 IR signals used by Foxtel IR remote controls, however this unit is compatible with RC6 and has been confirmed to work with the Foxtel IR remotes.

Note for IQ3 owners

The Foxtel IQ3 box has the ability to be controlled with a Bluetooth or IR remote control. The HDMI AV Sender only relays IR signals, so in order to use a remote control from the 2nd room you'll require a Foxtel IR remote control. We sell a generic one that is compatible and you'll be presented with an option to buy this upon purchase of the HDMI AV Sender.
