Control three plug-in appliances within your home with this simple to install 3-piece kit. Expandable to 256 modules, you can turn on the lights in your home from your front door, car, couch etc with the included key-chain remote. These and many other solutions are possible for a very low price with the 4-piece Appliance Starter kit.
The 4-piece Appliance Starter Kit contains:
1 x Keychain Remote: An attractive slim design Remote Control (KR22), which you can use to control four different X10 addresses, including dim and bright. The slim design of the KR22 makes it easy to take with you, for instance on your key chain. Use it for direct control of your X10 devices, or to trigger macro's defined in an X10 programmable controller (eg our CM12 computer interface).
1 x RF Interface Module: The RF Interface converts RF signals from wireless RF devices (the KR22 remote in this case) into an X10 signal sent through the existing house wiring. It is therefore possible to control all X10 home control modules through your existing house wiring using your remote control (and other X10 RF transmitters).
2 x Plug-In Appliance Module: This module simply plugs into a power point and then you plug any plug-in appliance to the socket on the front. After that, your appliance will be enabled with home automation, giving you remote or automated control using the keychain remote included within this kit. |
