Set your Foxtel Loose!
The AVS58 wireless A/V sender transmits 5.8GHz signals up to a range of 25metres.
With no line of sight limitation, 5.8GHz technology offers superior signal reproduction
compared to lower frequencies - resulting in sharper pictures, clearer sound
and reduced signal interference. Circular-polarised directional antennas provide
maximum signal quality over long distances.
The AVS58 video sender also has a built-in infrared remote extender. This
enables you to continue to use your remote control, even in a different room
to your source devices. The way this works is that the receiver (set up away
from the source devices) converts IR signals to RF and then sends them to the
transmitter. The transmitter then converts the RF signals back to IR and transmits
them to your source devices. The system is also compatible with our 8in1 universal
remote, giving you the ability to control your devices from any room in the
house.
Connections:
Transmitter: The transmitter has AV composite inputs (yellow = video, white
= left channel audio, red = right channel audio). There is also a socket on
the transmitter for an IR emitter lead so that you may use your remote control
from the remote room.
Receiver: The receiver has AV composite outputs (same colour code as for transmitter
above). In addition, the receiver has a modulated RF output for connection to
the aerial input of your remote TV. So if you have an old TV, or the AV inputs
of your remote TV are being used, then you can still connect your AVS58 receiver. |
